There is a learning process to appreciating and consuming alcohol. With alcoholic beverages, there are the immediate experiences of taste, aroma, and appearance, and there are subsequent effects. In the case of over-consumption or irresponsible consumption of alcohol, the dangers are more immediate, and they can have tragic consequences both individually and for the community at large. Unlike the European culture where wine and beer are part of the education at the family table, Indians, for the most part, often don’t teach their growing children about the effects of alcohol consumption. It's frequently a process of trial and error, in a circumstance where the error can be devastating.

We want our products to be consumed and appreciated for the immediate taste experience, for the wonderful flavors and complexity, and we urge our drinkers to savor our beers and to be moderate in their consumption. We applaud the many honorable organizations and programs that educate people about alcohol consumption, and we support their mission to inspire responsible attitudes and behavior about drinking.
